My experience with running is that you need to run about 45 minutes a day, 5 or 6 days a week to lose weight . Don’t get too hung up on your speed…it is not the point of running. As you run for a longer time you will naturally speed up …

Now that I am vested in it
, and as I am loosing weight , exercise is becoming more and more enjoyable – especially when it helps me to increase my weight loss , shape problem areas up, and give me greater strength and stamina! The more I do, the more I WANT … It has become about more than just what difference it makes on the scale! BTW – I’m thinking that my reward for 40 pounds gone will be tennis equipment so I can start incorporating tennis in my routine as well!)

Combine your upper and lower body exercises ? Cut your strength routine in half by incorporating exercises for several body parts. For example, while performing a lunge, add a set of bicep curls to the movement

I was struggling to lose the weight I had gained from being pregnant. Going back to my normal workout routine (cross traininger and weight training) was just not enough for me to see any significant movement on the scale and I was getting more and more … I’ve also told people that stationary workout equipment when used daily is MINDLESS (speaking from experience)…how do you expect your body to respond to something that doesn’t trigger your brain to do anything.
